Smart Starter monitors your trucks battery voltage and automatically starts its engine when its battery drops below 12.1 volts. It will idle your truck until your desired runtime has been reached (5 min to 1 hour), and then shut it down. This eliminates dead batteries and costly jump-start calls.

Yes. Smart Starter was built for DIY installation and can be installed in under 2 hours. Our support team can provide live phone or video-call support to guide you during the installation. Most customers are able to install Smart Starter on their own using the installation guides and videos.
